Paul Winner, DO, FAAN, FAAP, FAHS is
director of both the Premiere Research Institute and the Palm
Beach Headache Evaluation Center in West Palm Beach, FL., where he is also
an attending neurologist at Palm Beach Neurology. In addition
he is Clinical Professor of Neurology at Nova Southeastern University
in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
He earned his D.O. from the New York College of Osteopathic
Medicine in Old Westbury in 1981, followed by a rotating internship
in medicine at Suburban General Hospital in Norristown, PA.
He completed residencies in Pediatrics and Neurology at the
Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. He then
served as Neuromuscular Fellow in Neurology at Cornell University
Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
Dr. Winner is a member of several professional societies,
including the American Medical Association and the American
Osteopathic Association. He is Board Certified by the American
Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with a special competence
in Child Neurology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy
of Neurology, American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American
Headache Society. He is Editor-in-Chief of Headache Update
and a reviewer for several journals.
He is a past President of the American Headache Society.
He has been awarded Best Doctors in America in 2003-to present.
He has also been awarded one of America’s Top Physician.
Dr. Winner is an active presenter and author on the topics
of Headache and Neurological Disorders. He has received major
media attention and has participated as Investigator and Principal
Investigator in numerous clinical studies.
